WHILE West Coast celebrated the careers of Andrew Embley, Adam Selwood and Mark Nicoski on the weekend, two more Eagles left the nest with little fan fare.
Ashton Hams and Brad Dick both called time on their AFL careers last weekend, bowing out as West Coast went down to Adelaide by 86 points on Saturday night at Patersons Stadium.
Hams, taken in the 2010 rookie draft, played 39 games for the Eagles over four seasons. Hams was a member of the 2005 South Fremantle premiership side with this brother Kyle.
Dick did not manage to make a senior appearance for West Coast after crossing over from Collingwood where he played 27 games. The 2009 NAB Rising Star nominee’s career was derailed after two knee reconstructions.
